He is survived by: his wife Hattie Lee Burns (Linton); his children, Cornelia Vaughn (Willie) of Sumter, SC, Dianne Juitt (Alex) of Columbia, SC, Melissa Cook of Sumter, SC, Willie Lee Harris (Blanca) of Newark, NJ, Lucious Burns (Bobbie) of Sumter, SC, Robert Burns (Joanne) of Sumter, SC and Pedro Cook of Sumter, SC; his adoptive daughter Tina Richardson; his sisters, Doritha McGee, Rebekka Magazine, Shirly Harris and Ollie Mae Gallishaw; his siblings-in-law, Billy Clark and Bernice Slater; and his cousin Vivian Holmes. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
