He was predeceased by: his parents, Mack Calvin Player, Sr. and Lucille Bradshaw Player; his children, Richard "Ricky" Player and Joye Player; and his siblings, Elizabeth McAllister, Annette McLeod, Frances Schwabenbauer and Charles W. Player.
He is survived by: his grandsons, Ricky Player of Sumter and Ryan Player of Sumter.
