She was predeceased by: her parents, Zeb Somersett and Pearl Davis Somersett; and her brother Ransome J. "Randy" Somersett. She is survived by: her daughter Kristie Johnston; her grandchildren, Devon, Aliana and Damian; and her siblings, Myron Somersett (LuRose) of Alcolu, Betty Siau (William) of Alcolu and Karen Brown (David) of Alcolu. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
