It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margarete Iseman (Sumter, South Carolina), born in Sturgis, Kentucky, who passed away on November 28, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Thomas and Laura Weller Sholar; and her son-in-law Roger Cheek. She is survived by: her daughters, Laura Troutman Brogdon (Fred E. Brogdon, Jr.) and Katherine Troutman Cheek of Sumter; her grandchildren, Margarete Brogdon Hill (Cooper) of Sumter, Andrew Creighton Cheek (Jessica) of Manning, Rev. Frederick Earle Brogdon, III of Decatur, AL and McKenzie Cheek Grant (Shawn) of Sumter; her great grandchildren, Cooper, Jr., Brogdon, Laekyn, Aubrey, Autumn, Creighton and Wyatt; and her sister-in-law Thomas Daniel Sholar (Ernestine) of Princeton, KY. She is also survived by seven nieces and nephews.
