It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marian Joyce Oxendine Benenhaley (Sumter, South Carolina), who passed away on May 7, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James C. Benenhaley; her parents, Mansfield Oxendine and Nellie Benenhaley Oxendine; and her daughters, Joyce Carroll and Lydia Patterson.

She is survived by: her daughters, Claudia B. Gainey (Wayne), Ammie B. Burdick and Wendy Benenhaley (Keith); and her brother Burgess Oxendine. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
