He was predeceased by: his parents, Alma Mallette and William Carver Mallette; and his brothers, Willie, Charles, James (Jimmy), William (Bill), Joseph (Joe), Rudolph (Rudy), Albert, Durell (Dee Dee), George and Fred.
He is survived by: his children, David (Karen Sue), Melvin (Lori), Linda (Frank), Karen (Mark), William, Darren (Tonya) and Kimberly (Lamar); and his wife Rosetta. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and close friends.
