He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Schenck and Rhea Hewitt Schenck; and his sister Shurla S. Lunsford. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Thatcher Schenck; his children, Scott Allen Schenck (Shally) of Wake Forest, NC and Krista Schenck of Sanford, NC; his brother Robert "Bob" Schenck (Sharon); his brother-in-law Ronald Lunsford; and his grandchildren, Gene Allen Mertz Schenck and Lanah Schenck.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested to be given to the Scotland County Republican Party.
