She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Bowen and Nancy Crosby Bowen; her sons, Wade Kaseen of Sumter, SC and Timothy Geter; her sister Elease Balls; and her stepmothers, Sara Coplan Bowen and Susanna Wright Bowen.
She is survived by: her siblings, Ruth Jackson of Wedgefield, SC, Nancy Bowen of Bronx, NY, Elizabeth Sumpter (Herman) of Sumter, SC, Susanna Swanson (Robert) of Burlington, NC and Franklin Benjamin Bowen of Sumter, SC; her stepbrother Louis Jacob of Wedgefield, SC; her grandsons, Tyrell, Malcolm, Todd, Andre and Keylen; and her nieces, Delores Brooks and Shirley Choice. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
