It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Melvin Brown (Sumter, South Carolina), who passed away on September 27, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene C. Brown and Marie W. Brown; his daughter Claudia Craft Lanouette; his granddaughter Claudia Elaine Lanouette; his great grandchild Stephen Pool; and his brothers, Eugene C. Brown, Jr. and Charles M. Brown.
He is survived by: his children, Melvin Brown, Jr. (Tammy), John Brown of Sumter, SC and Margaret Ann Baker (Tad) of Mt. Pleasant, SC.; and his sister Anne B. Partin (Wayne) of Charleston, SC. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
