He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Phillip Cabbagestalk and Mary Burroughs Cabbagestalk; his wife Patricia Montgomery Cabbagestalk; and his children, Tracy Montgomery, Laura Cabbagestalk, Melvin Cabbagestalk, Jr., Joseph Cabbagestalk, Martell Montgomery and Avion Montgomery. He was also cherished by fifteen grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Due to the COVID 19 guidelines, the family is requesting face masks and social distancing be observed by all relatives and friends during home visitation at 714 Brockington Street, Sumter.
