She was predeceased by: her husband Murray Pinkney, Jr.; her parents, Willie Black and Rosa Geddis Black; her sons, Earl Franklin Pinkney, Willie (Pinkney) and Carl Jerome Pinkney; her granddaughter Patricia Jackson; and her sister Helen B. Jackson.
She is survived by: her daughter Helen Nixon (Edward); her grandchildren, Terrolyn Pinkney Kissai, Teresa Nixon Campbell (Troy), Jamice Pinkney, Michelle Price, Matthew Pinkney, Taiisha Pinkney Bradley (James), Carlton Pinkney and Lavonté Glisson; her great grandchildren, Zadiyah Kissai, Justice Pinkney, Joshua Campbell, Mason Pinkney, Landon Bradley, Rashaun Price, Jamarion Pinkney and Serenity Glisson; and her daughters-in-law, Windella Pinkney and Latondra Pinkney. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
