With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Myrteen E Wade King (Sumter, South Carolina), who passed away on January 19, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Ernest V. King; her siblings, Meta W. George, Martha W. Wright, Carolyn L. Wade, Marion, Martin and Simon Wade; and her siblings-in-law, Albert George, William C. Wright, Rev. Brookward Bush, James E. Williams, John W. King, Elizabeth, Edna and Rosa Lee Wade.

She is survived by: her cousin James Wade (Bubba); her stepdaughters, Gwendolyn and Shelia King of Minnesota; her siblings, Mary W. Moore (Jacob), Florence W. Bush, Annie MW. Williams and Horace H. Wade (Albertha); and her siblings-in-law, Samuel (Annie), Otis King (Ruthell) and Barbara King. She is also survived by four grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
