It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Amerson (Sumter, South Carolina), who passed away on June 1, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Marion S. Amerson, Sr.; her parents, Johnnie Capell and Letha Williams Capell; her siblings, Larry Capell, Mary Catherine Myers and June Mathis; and her son-in-law Ronnie Davis.
She is survived by: her children, Marion S. Amerson, Jr. (Deborah) of Florence, Sandra A. Davis of Sumter and Johnnie Russell Amerson (Margie) of Cameron; her grandchildren, Susan Amerson (David), Joey Amerson (Leslie), Todd Davis (Mary Elizabeth), Kim Posey (Patrick), Chad Davis (Sonya), Brian Russell Amerson (Meagan), Michelle Renee Amerson (T. J. Hutson), Tanya Frierson (Jason) and Gerald Green; and her siblings, Donald Capell (Margaret Ann) of Lugoff and Sue Garvin (George) of Georgetown. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
