He was predeceased by: his siblings, Wilson (Buster), Marion (Sack), Anna (Rusha), Elex (Buck), Katie, Ervin and Ernest; his wife Margaret Gregg Butler; his niece Alfreda; his great-nephew Renaldo; and his daughters-in-law, Lois and Mary.
He is survived by: his daughters, Thelma and Nita; his stepchildren, Alexander and Sammie; and his children, Lisa (Timothy), Dolores, David and Ronnie. He is also survived by the children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and other family members.
In accordance with COVID 19 guidelines, the family is requesting face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends during visitation at the home from 5:00 until 8:00 p. m., 610 East Liberty Street, Sumter.
