He was predeceased by: his wife Katherine "Bobby" Hart Robert Kendrick; his parents, John Melvin Kendrick and Johnnie Elam Bridge Kendrick; and his siblings, Jennie Sue Kendrick, Ruby Merie Harms, Frances Elenor Purdom, Charles Jackson Kendrick, Ralph Melvin Kendrick and Albert Boyce Kendrick.
He is survived by: his children, Norris Raymond Kendrick, Jr. of Vero Beach, FL and Lynn Kendrick Fanning (David) of Sumter; his sister Carolyn McCartha of Forest City, NC; and his grandchildren, Kylie Nicole Baer (Luke) and Brendan Matthew Kendrick (Hannah).
