He was predeceased by: his parents, James Oliver Lynch and Fozia Lee Lowder Lynch; and his siblings, Frances Dorrell, Mary Brunson, Billy Lynch, Fred Lynch, Arthur Lynch, Marie Lynch and Edward Lynch.

He is survived by: his sisters, Betty Brewer of Manning, Shirley Boykin of Sumter, Pat Brendlen of Sumter and Rosa Lee Sims of Butler, AL..
