He was predeceased by: his parents, James W. Boyd and Jerry Wright Boyd; and his wife Dona Jones Boyd. He is survived by: his sons, Rex L. Boyd, Jr. (Katherine) of Sumter Shane, Paul J. Boyd (Michelle) of Newburn, NC and Bryce O. Boyd (Jessica) of Lugoff; his grandchildren, Houston Boyd Dylan (Jessica), Jake, Jackson, Gabby, Avery, Ella, Brayson, Brennen and Breleigh Dona; and his siblings, Jimmy Boyd (Cathy) of Chesnee and Mary Sanders (Ray) of Union.
