Richard McDaniel Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard McDaniel (Sumter, South Carolina), who passed away on December 17, 2020 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rupert Allen McDaniel and Gladys Huggins McDaniel; and his brothers, Lester McDaniel and Allen McDaniel. He is survived by: his wife Juanita Avin McDaniel; his children, Richard Lewis "Ricky" McDaniel (Beth) of Sumter, Sharon Rogers (Stephen) of Sumter and Ronald L. McDaniel (Becki) of Sumter; his grandchildren, Bryan McDaniel (Lizzy), Emily McDaniel, Jessica McDaniel, Caroline Rogers and Meredith Rogers; and his brother Jimmy McDaniel (Betty) of Seneca. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethel United Methodist Church, 5575 Lodebar Rd., Sumter, SC 29153.
