He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman M. Newman and Bernice Baker Newman. He is survived by: his wife Stephanie Taylor Newman; his daughters, Jennifer McLeod of Pinewood and Leigh Mitchell (Leon) of Sumter; his grandchildren, Kelsey Newman, Matthew Bruce and Dylan McLeod; his great grandchildren, Jackson McElveen and Ryder Bruce; and his sister Louise Summerall.
