With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita Gallahar of Sumter, South Carolina, born in Garber, Iowa, who passed away on January 6, 2021 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Gallahar Jr.; and her parents, Clement Curran and Leta Fay Crandall Curran. She is survived by: her sons, David Gallahar (Jennifer) of Sumter and Gerald Gallahar (Sharon) of Irmo; her sister Patricia Kohnen of Dubuque, Iowa; her grandchildren, Allison (Andrew), Bob, Theresa (William), Sunshine, Kristall (John) and Windi (Matt); and her great grandchildren, Jennifer, Preston, Aislinn, Paton, Cora, Connor, Bryce, Cody, Tristin and Savana.
