He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby Brendle and Betty Lou Rose Brendle; his son Nicholas Brendle; his sister Debi Brendle; his grandparents, Pat, Elsie Rose, Jesse Fred and Betty Brendle; his aunts, Donna Davis, Ann Brendle and Jean Dobson; his uncle Jim Brendle; and his pet Zoe.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Detter Brendle; and his sisters, Karen Kephart (Eddie) of Murphy, NC, Susan Simmons (Doug) of Hickory, NC and Jennifer Evans of Hickory, NC. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
