He is survived by: his wife Sue Andrews Pitts; his children, John Pitts (Beverly) of Bowling Green, KY, David Pitts (Wendy) of Harrisburg, NC and Lynn Pitts of Charlotte, NC; his grandchildren, Sara Pitts of Pippa Passes, KY and Adam Pitts (Bailey) of Bowling Green, KY; his great grandchild Harper Elliotte Pitts of Bowling Green, KY; and his brothers, Charles Pitts of Sumter, SC and Roland Pitts of Mechanicsville, VA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
