She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucious Champagne and Ada Laws Champagne. She is survived by: her sons, Alvin Reames (Margie) of Sumter and Willie Donte Cabbagestalk (Melissa) of Barnwell; her sisters, Dorothy Johnson, Carrie Lee Champagne, Louise Champagne (Willie), Margaret Rhodes (Johnny), Lucille Champagne and Joyce Davis (Trace); her uncles, Robert "Bubba" Laws of Bishopville and Fred Laws of Sumter; her close friends, Cassandra Renee Thompson, Patricia Webb, Beatrice Sumpter and Sissy Sanders; and also Rosa L. Richards. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren.
In accordance with the COVID -19 guidelines, the family is requesting face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends during all visitations at the home, 318 Oswego Highway, Sumter.
