It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Aycock in Sumter, South Carolina, born in Pinewood, South Carolina, who passed away on November 9, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband George Calhoun "Sonny" Aycock, Sr.; and her parents, Charles Lawrence Griffin and Naomi Geddings Griffin. She is survived by: her children, George Calhoun Aycock, Jr., Laura Aycock Morris (Steve) and Libby Aycock; and her grandchildren, Anna Jones (Walker), Stephanie Covington (Matt), Wayne Morris (Ashley), Pam Miles (Randy), Trey Aycock (Danielle) and Ashley Stockton (Casey). She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
