It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon D Brooks (Sumter, South Carolina), who passed away on September 10, 2021, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Brown and Juanita Ford Jordan; and her husband Frank Brooks, Jr.. She is survived by: her siblings, Jeanette Mickens and William Ford; her daughters, Courtney Brown and Gracie McDowell (Michael); and her siblings, Ann Ford, Veronica Jordan, Michelle Jordan, Robert Brown (Mary), James E. Ford and David Brown. She is also survived by her grandchildren, nieces, nephew, aunts, uncles, loved ones and friends.
In accordance with the COV19 guidelines, the family is requesting that face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends during visitations at the home, 4278 Confederate Road, Sumter.
