With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Simons (Sumter, South Carolina), born in Effingham, South Carolina, who passed away on October 13, 2020 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Archie Carl Simons; her parents, Robert Wade Aycock and Lola Mae Hicks Donlon; her brother Jimmy Aycock; her granddaughter Kimberly Jewell; and her great grandchild Cole Parnell.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Wayne Benenhaley (Alice) of Lady Lake, FL, Alice Ann Howell (Steven) of Savannah, GA, David Ray Benenhaley (Sherrie) of Sumter and Beverly B. LeBlanc (Bob) of Sumter; her grandparent Jerry Benenhaley, Jr.; and her siblings, Danny Barkley, Donna Donlon Steele, Thomas Donlon, Jr., Michael Donlon, Kerri Donlon, Michele Donlon, Kimberly Donlon, Sherry Holcombe and Randy Holcombe. She is also survived by 11 other grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
