He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Angela Pauline Ashworth Lyons; his parents, Paul Jefferson Lyons and Debra Lynn Barwick Lyons; his children, McKenzie Reed Lyons, Austin Paul Lyons, Dalton Joe Lyons and Kayla Tisdale; his grandchildren, Emma Tisdale and Eli Colletto; and his brother Jason Lyons (Ashley) of Sumter.
