She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Martin, Jr.; and her parents, Jackson Charles and Mattie Charles. She is survived by: her son Roderick Martin I (LaVerne); her grandchildren, Breyon Martin, Roderick G. Martin II (Octavia), Terrance Kershaw, Rishod Kershaw (Marquitta), Alahmeer Martin, Kayvon Kershaw, Zarlaya Kershaw, Jensen Kershaw and Braiylen Kershaw; her son-in-law Lawrence Kershaw; and her sisters, Viola Charles and Mattie Lawson. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
