It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tommye Shull Long of Sumter, South Carolina, born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, who passed away on January 13, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John Sherman Long; her parents, Harvey Shull and Agnes Nancy Brown Shull; her son Mark Anthony Long; and her brother Eddie Shull.
She is survived by: her children, Rodney Long (Wanda) of Sumter and Trina Long Mask (Dan) of Pinewood; and her siblings, Jim Shull of Hixson, TN, Robbie Hester of Ringgold, GA and Jewell Rogers of Ringgold, GA. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
