With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Verna Broadway Snyder (Sumter, South Carolina), who passed away on December 24, 2021 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Charles Henry Broadway; her husband Benjamin Marshall Snyder, Sr.; her parent Ollie Andrews Broadway; her son Benjamin "Benny" M. Snyder, Jr.; her granddaughter Ashley Porter Ballard; and her siblings, Pearl Crenshaw, Barbara Corbett, Edward Broadway, Lettie Hodge, Mendel Broadway, Reid Broadway and Willie Fay Broadway Howell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda S. Veal (Jimmy) of Sumter and Cynthia S. Ballard of Columbia; her granddaughters, Heidi C. Coursey (Billy) and Heather Collins; her great grandchildren, Dalton Coursey, Holdyn Coursey, Bates McCutchen and Jodi O'Connor (Josh); and her great great grandchildren, Owen and Talan O'Connor.
