She was predeceased by: her spouse Amon of Washington; her parents, Virgil Halley and Mary Jane Loney Halley; her children, Virgie Davis of Washington and Herbert of Washington; her siblings, Sumpter Halley, Thomas Halley, Joseph Halley, Josephine Halley Spencer, Mary Jane Peay Dennis and Wilhelmina Vieux; and her sons-in-law, John Reese and Henry Scriven.
She is survived by: her children, Gladys Scriven, Josephine Durant (Robert) of Columbia, Mary Reese of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, Martin (Ellen) of Washington and Johnnie (Martha) of Sumter; her sister Viola Phillips of Bronx; her sister-in-law Ethel Halley of Greenwich, Connecticut; and her son-in-law Keith Davis of Bowie, Maryland. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
