He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Roger Brashear and Grace Flemming Brashear. He is survived by: his wife Joan Morgan Brashear; and his stepchildren, Tina Lynn Kirby, Renee LaFrom and Billy Sliger, Jr.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
