He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward S. Altman and Sudie Rogers Altman; and his siblings, Martha Ann, Lavonne, Harry and Gene.
He is survived by: his wife Sara Ginn Altman; his daughters, Sharon Kay Berry and Karlin Altman; his siblings, Donald Ray Altman and Geraldine Mandikunis (Lewis); his nephew William Stokes; his niece Rebecca Stokes; and his great-nephew Kyler Stokes.
