He is survived by: his stepmother Willie Mae Hastie; his wife Roberta Canty Hastie; his children, Sherman Hastie and Shanna Hastie; his grandchildren, Ava Hastie and Trinity Cornell; and his great grandchildren, Khaidyn Greg and Zaylen Perry. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
