He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Richard Bowers and Lahoma Watkins Bowers. He is survived by : his wife Rose Marie Bowers of Surfside Beach; his children, Christine McLean (Gordon), Andrea Bowers Habron (Darrell) and Richard Anton Bowers; his sisters, Helen Goodrum (Ken) and Donna Browning (Ron); and his grandchildren, Emily Habron Orndorff (Steve), Maxwell McLean, Kendra Habron, Nicholas McLean, Derek Habron, Stephanie McLean, Alexander Bowers and Joseph Bowers.
The family has requested that memorial donations be made to the Wounded Warriors Project, 1990 Fordham Drive, Suite 100, Fayetteville, NC 28304.
