He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie D. Brown and Opal Kirby Brown; his sons, Nedwin Brown and James Olin Brown; and his siblings, Kenneth Brown, Sr., Jasper Brown, Beatrice Daniel, Beauford Brown, Cecil Brown, J. Q. Brown, Daniel Brown and Paul Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Sue Johnson Brown; his daughters, Debbie Spires and Donna Smith (Jeffrey); his grandchildren, Dustin Spires (Brittany), Jasper Volf (Josh), Austyn Jeffcoat, Zachery Smith, Joshua Smith, Jenna Jeffcoat and Allison Smith; his great grandchildren, McKenzie Brown and Bryson Spires; and his sisters, Mona Herren (Steve) and Peggy Eidson (Doyle).
