She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father Joe Donald Matthews; her grandparents, Isaac, Hattie Matthews, Ben and Lena Garland; her father-in-law William Keener; her husband Michael Keener; her stepson Chris Mooney (Tabitha) of Ridgeville, SC; her children, Chase McJunkin of Taylors, SC and Jessica Keener (Savannah) of Campobello, SC; her grandchildren, Steven, Cason and Saylor; her mother Betty Matthews; and her sister Tanya Merril.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lee Road United Methodist Church (1377 E Lee Rd, Taylors, SC 29687). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In addition, she was an advocate for the Ronald McDonald House as well as Organ Donation.
