We are sad to announce that on December 6, 2025, at the age of 82, Lenore Mae Clery of Taylors, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Leroy Degroat, Sr. and Mildred Mitchell Degroat. She is survived by: her husband Gratain Clery; her children, Edward Peterson and Marie Green; her siblings, Bernice Hayes, Doris DeGroat, Harold, Wilbur, Lawrence, Robert, Lorraine, Blanche, Carol, Pearl, Brenda and Betty; her daughters, Theresa Murphy and Tawana Dunham; and her grandchildren, Shondae Peterson, Tre'Shon and Shon Peterson. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes - Downtown Chapel (639 N Main St, Greenville, SC 29601). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
