He is survived by: his wife Roswitha Powers; his children, Charles "Tony" Powers of Lamar, Charlotte Gilbert (Jack) of Hartsville, John Powers of Florence and Janet Roller (Matt) of Forest City; and his stepson Mike G. Tarte (Karen) of Florence.
