He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Truett and Geter F. Rhodes; his wife Virginia "Bonnie" Brown Rhodes; and his brother Geter F. Rhodes, Jr.. He is survived by: his brother James L. Rhodes (Brenda) of Florence; and his sister-in-law Linda Lynch Brown of Timmonsville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
