She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Jess Brown; her parents, Lee Huskey and Stella Harris Huskey; her son Anthony Leland Brown; and her siblings, Alice Huskey Williams, Farrell Huskey and Leonard Huskey.
She is survived by: her children, Melinda Brown Long (Thom) of Greenville and Marcus Jess Brown (Gail) of Candler, NC; her grandchildren, Catherine Long Church (David), Bryan Long (Ellen), Samuel Brown and Alice Brown; and her great grandchild Adeline Ree Long. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
