She was predeceased by: her parents, James Calvin Powell, Sr. and Ethel Theola Jenkins Powell; her siblings, James Calvin Powell, Jr. (Minnie Lee), Jerry Jenkins Powell and Martha Spake; and her son-in-law Alvin Smith.

She is survived by: her husband James Truman Stepp; her children, Deborah Stepp Henry (Mike), Cheryl Stepp Smith, James R. Stepp (Sheila) and Lynn Stepp Stewart (Leonard); her brother William Powell (Pat); her siblings-in-law, Freddie Jenkins and John Spake; her grandchildren, Chris Smalley (Rick), MacKenzy Gebert (Nina), Travis Gebert (Kathy), April Wilson (Jeff), Brandon Stepp (Caroline), Amanda Donithan (Wes), Wendy Mathis (Eric), Michael Stewart, Michael Henry, Jr. (Meredith) and Nathan Henry; her great grandchildren, Lacy Halstead (Jesse), Kross Gebert, Liam Gebert, Ethan Gebert, Alecia Henry, Titus Henry, Elijah Wilson, Ella Kate Wilson, Arthur Donithan and Garrett Mathis; her great great grandchild Nola Halstead; and her close friend Becky Fowler.
