She was predeceased by: her parents, Jimmie Newton and Mae Myrtle Fogleman Cadenhead; and her siblings, John William Cadenhead, Junior Cadenhead and Joanna Crowell.

She is survived by: her husband Jim Burns; her children, Travis Burns (Michelle), Justin Burns (April), Jared Burns (Dana) and Michelle Chappell (Patrick); and her brother Bob Cadenhead (Lyla). She is also survived by twelve grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Music Ministry of Clearview Baptist Church, C/O Clearview Baptist Church, 5611 State Park Rd., Travelers Rest, SC 29690.
