He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Lee Coleman and Flora Maxine Nabors (Bishop); his grandfather Smurf; his former wife Kathryn Sue Coleman (Robertson); and his brothers, Wayne and Kenneth Coleman.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Bradey-Coleman; his sons, Eric Coleman of Knoxville, TN and Kevin Coleman (Rhonda) of Travelers Rest; his sister Joyce Coleman Scruggs of Travelers Rest; his stepdaughters, Susan Bradey-Fulmer (Danny) of Myrtle Beach, SC and Deanna Schwind (Thomas) of Conway, SC; his daughter-in-law Karen Coleman of Kingsport, TN; and his nephew Walter Burdine. He is also survived by 3 grandsons, 7 great-grandchildren.
