He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jim Dahlhausen and Joan Dahlhausen; his significant other Elizabeth McGuigan (Betty); his children, Jesus, Rachel Dahlhausen of Greenville, SC, Beka Bixby (Ben) of Hemet, CA, Phillip Dahlhausen (Benita) of Honolulu, HI, Abigail Mangum (Dan) of Grand Junction, CO, Anna (Jonathan) of Vries, Deborah Peltier (Lee) of Easley, SC and Tim (Liz) of Easley, SC.; his grandchildren, Emma, Josh, Timmy, Ellie, Hudson Bixby, Jeremiah, Ariella, Anela Dahlhausen, Aubrey, Alayna, Henry Mangum, Alyssa, Sophia, Linnea of Vries, Zoe, Micah, Titus, Olivia, Isaac Peltier, Hayley, Lexi and Kai Dahlhausen; and his siblings, Tina Dahlhausen, Debbie Timmons (Kevin), Jim Dahlhausen (Pam), Joe Dahlhausen (Melissa), Nancy Linville (Rick), Diane Finnerty (Hugh), Ron Dahlhausen (Lizane), Kurt Dahlhausen, Jeff Dahlhausen, Mark Dahlhausen, Dave Dahlhausen (Kayla) and Jill Ebie (Tim).

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Mount Calvary Baptist Church (115 Cedar Lane Rd, Greenville, SC 29601). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

“We came to know Dr. Dahlhausen in 2021 as the overseeing hospice doctor of Christine’s mother and since then as a brother in Christ at Mt. Calvary Baptist. He was a blessing to us in each role through his Christ-like, joyful, and humble service. May the Lord raise up many men like Dan Dahlhausen!
