She was predeceased by : her parents, Esley Duncan and Bessie Taylor Duncan; and her siblings, Aden Duncan, David Duncan and Rachel Fulghum.

She is survived by : her husband Jerry Ancil Gibson; and her daughters, Lanie Dameron, Dana Mathis (Josh Moore) and Sherry Brown (Scott). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
