It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mitzi F Turner of Travelers Rest, South Carolina, born in Concord, North Carolina, who passed away on April 17, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Thomas Foster and Eva Foster; her husband Robert Phillip "Phil" Turner; her children, Leigh G. McConnell (Clint), Jeffrey Alan Garren (Michele) and Scott Ashley Turner (Reba); her sister Ruby Fraley; and her grandchildren, Cassie Jo McConnell, Samuel McConnell, Makayla, Logan, Riley Garren, Daelyn and Ethan Brock.

A graveside service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Jackson Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery (1401 Jackson Grove Rd, Travelers Rest, SC 29690).
