He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Hugh Welch and Effie Viola Welch; his wife Nettie Floyd Spring Welch of Lake City; his children, Tonya Rogers (Elvin) of Turbeville, Caleb "Casey" Welch, Jr. (Kathy) of New Zion, Hope Cross (Eric Welch) and Cindy Lundkovsky (Jennie Spring McCreary) of Lexington; and his siblings, Dorothy Nell Bennett of Turbeville, Ethel Dell Calcutt of Florida, Violeta Yarborough (Buddy) of Effingham, Connie Feagin (Carroll) of Turbeville, Rounett McElveen (Lloyd) of Turbeville, Diane Beard of Turbeville, Clifton Welch (Diane) of Turbeville, A. J. Welch of Scranton, Lou Dell Bennett, Idella Welch Matthews and Calvin Welch. He was also cherished by 15 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; number of special nieces and nephews.
