It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dotsy Ruth B. Atkinson (Turbeville, South Carolina), born in Florence, South Carolina, who passed away on June 22, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Jimmy Fadden Bingham and Ruthie Jane McClam Bingham; her husband Charles Edward Atkinson, Sr.; her sons, Ricky Atkinson and Charles Edward Atkinson, Jr.; her granddaughter April Tiffany Floyd; her sister Bernice Barrineau (Jack); and her sister-in-law Carolyn Bingham.
She is survived by : her daughters, Donnette A. Morris (Steve) of Turbeville and Dr. Darlene Atkinson-Moran (Michael) of Florence; her daughter-in-law Debbie Atkinson Lee (James) of Lynchburg; her brother Orell Bingham of Lexington, SC; and her close friend Lorraine Duncan Floyd of Myrtle Beach, SC.. She is also survived by three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace and Mercy Ministries which supports overseas missions, at 1411 South Hollywood Drive, Surfside, SC 29575.
