He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Elsie McKenzie Spring and Walter Barnhill; his wife Karen Welch Barnhill; his brothers, Donald Barnhill (Wendy) of Turbeville and Robbie Barnhill (Scarlett) of Mountain City, TN; his nieces and nephews, James Hunt, Robbie Thomas, Crystal Barnhill, Catherine Barnhill, Nathan Barnhill, Jerry Welch and Ronald Deal; his close friend Mike Cumbie; his sister-in-law Patsy Welch; his sister Cynthia Hunt; his niece Misty Dawn Cooke; and his brother-in-law Anthony Welch.
